- What are the benefits of a high chair?
A high chair brings your tiny human to the family table and lets them participate during mealtimes. Having this sturdy raised seat makes feeding your child from a standing position much easier. Your child will also have the chance to learn table manners and socialize with other children or adults.
- When can my baby start using a high chair?
Most high chairs are recommended for babies from 6 months of age. Your baby is ready for a high chair when their back muscles are strong enough and they can sit upright without support. However, the Bugaboo Giraffe features multiple accessories to support your child from birth, such as a newborn set and a rocker frame.
- When should my baby stop using a high chair?
Although there's usually no specific age limit for high chairs, there is typically a weight limit. The Bugaboo Giraffe can handle up to 100 kg/220 lbs. Ultimately, it’s up to you and your child to decide when you want to move to a regular chair.
- How can I clean my high chair?
The Bugaboo Giraffe can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Our high chair accessories are also easy to clean; for example, the Bugaboo Giraffe tray is dishwasher safe and the Bugaboo Giraffe pillows are machine washable.
- Are high chairs safe?
High chairs are safe as long as you keep in mind all important safety measures. Before moving your baby to a high chair, make sure they can already sit up on their own, because this means their back muscles are developed enough. This usually happens around 6 months of age. If you would like to use it for newborn, you should get a Rocker (with or without rocking base).

Yes, you can get just a highchair base for your toddler (with or without a Baby Set and Feeding Tray) or just a Rocker (if you don't need a highchair).
